The International Conservatory of Music Educators (I.C.M.E.) allows member teachers to hold Annual or Bi-Annual adjudications for their students. Each participant receives a record of their achievements throughout the years, which may be bound into a book format by the teacher. We recommend that each student receive a certificate, medal, or plaque as a result of the program they play, and requirements for these awards may be custom tailored to the teacher's teaching style.  Judges may be chosen from the faculties of local colleges, universities, or the member teachers and/or board of I.C.M.E.
