The ICME programs exist to give music students the opportunity to have their musical progress personally verified and documented by respected pedagogues.

 

We create a living progress record that will stay with each student on their lifelong journey towards musical mastery. In addition, ICME gives students incentives to reach progressively higher milestones through earning Certificates, Medals, and Plaques that go along with the written record.

 

We provide a certification process for good teachers that is based on the excellence of their students, not only the education level of the teacher. I.C.M.E. recognizes that not all performers/musicians are good teachers, and that recognizing good teachers is a vital tool for creating successful teaching organizations.
